 1/8th Scale Nitro Buggy

  • Wheel Base Minimum: 12" / Maximum: 16"

  • Max vehicle width 18" (Outside tire to outside tire)

  • Transmission / Diff Single speed direct drive (1/8 buggy) style driveline only

  • Engine .21 through .30

  • Carb No Size restriction

  • Exhaust Pipes must meet the 85 decibel limit and have no movable parts in
  • them

  • Minimum weight 8lbs. 6 oz

  • Fuel Tanks and Filters Single fuel tanks only no more than 150mililitres/cc.

  • This includes fuel line from tank to carb and filter(s).

  • Bodies Must be made for truggy class

  • Bumpers are optional. If used, must not extend further than 1" past the body
  • on the front and rear

  • Rear Spoiler/Wing Stock or aftermarket wing made for class.

  • Skid Plates Skid Plates must not extend further than 1" past the body on the
  • front and rear.

  • Wheels Must be manufactured for Truggies

  • Tires See tire/wheel rule

  • Must be available on the market and produced for the specific class.The
  • new LPR wheels and tires are legal.

  • The Panther LP is referenced for this size and will be the absolute smallest
  • tire legal.

  • Motor Brushless no limitation. Sensored or sensorless.

  • Transmission Single speed only

  • Bodies Buggy or other off-road style body that resembles an actual off-road
  • racing vehicle

  • Tires See tire/wheel rule

  • Must be available on the market and produced for the specific class.

  • Notes:

  • Batteries MUST ALWAYS be charged in a charging sack specifically
  • designed and marketed for the purpose of charging lipos.

  • Maximum height is measured with suspension fully compressed.

  • Electric buggies may not run with the Nitro buggies. 

1/8th Scale Electric Truggy:

  • Wheel Base Minimum: 12" / Maximum: 16"

  • Max vehicle width 18" (Outside tire to outside tire)

  • Transmission / Diff Single speed direct drive (1/8 buggy) style driveline only

  • Motor Brushless no limitation. Sensored or sensorless

  • Batteries 4S, 5S or 6S lipo. No MAH limit. Batteries must be in good
  • physical shape no cut, damaged or swollen pack allowed. Hard cases not
  • required. Batteries must be secured properly in the vehicle, strapped or
  • clamped into place before the event begins.

  • Minimum weight 8lbs. 6 oz

  • Bodies Must be made for truggy class

  • The Panther LP is referenced for this size and will be the absolute smallest

  • Electric Arena Trucks may not run with the Nitro Arena Trucks.

  • Batteries MUST ALWAYS be charged in a charging sack specifically
  • designed and marketed for the purpose of charging lipos.

1/10th Scale Limited 2WD CORR Truck Class(electric)

  • Any 1/10 2wd truck that is available to the public and made as a "CORR"
  • type truck allowed(Traxxas Slash, HPI Blitz, AE SC10, Losi Strike, Etc)

  • Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for truck. Added
  • wings are not allowed.

  • Tire/rim combination must be 3.0” inside bead diameter x 2.2″ outside bead
  • diameter. Any tire marketed for the Short Course Trucks. No cutting/making
  • tires. 1/8 or 1/10 Scale rims/tires NOT allowed. Tires/wheels must remain in
  • stock form, zero modifications allowed.

  • Batteries allowed will be either one 7.2 volt(6cell) nicad/nimh or one 2s 7.4
  • volt lipo battery. No mah limit.

  • Motor: Stock Kit motors or 13.5 Brushless. Must be available to the public.

  • Chassis: Must remain in stock form, no modifications(Length, width, etc)

  • Must be 2wd and may use ball or gear differentials.

1/10th Scale Open 4WD CORR Truck Class(electric:

  • Any 1/10 4wd truck that is available to the public and made as a "CORR"
  • type truck allowed(Traxxas Slash, Hyper 10SC, Jammin SCRT10, Etc)

  • Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for truck. Added
  • wings are not allowed.

  • Tire/rim combination must be 3.0” inside bead diameter x 2.2″ outside bead
  • diameter. Any tire marketed for the Short Course Trucks. No cutting/making
  • tires. 1/8 or 1/10 Scale rims/tires NOT allowed. Tires/wheels must remain in
  • stock form, zero modifications allowed.

  • Batteries allowed will be either one 7.2 volt(6cell) nicad/nimh or one 2s 7.4
  • volt lipo battery. No mah limit.

  • Motor: No motor limit Brushless. Must be available to the public.

  • Chassis: Must remain in stock form, no modifications(Length, width, etc)

Slash Spec. Short Course Truck Scale: 1/10th

  • Slash 2WD Short Course Trucks Only

  • Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for trucks. Added
  • wings are not allowed. (No Beetles)

Ø  Both the front & the rear suspension systems must remain in stock form. Original parts only. No aftermarket/Hop up replacement components may be installed.  Box Stock Shocks, NO Big Bore. Aluminum Shock caps are legal.

Ø  Direct replacement parts are allowed. For instance if  RPM makes it for the Slash it is allowed. Ball Differentials are NOT permitted in the Spec Class. No performance upgrade parts. The part must be a direct replacement part for the Slash.

Ø  No modifications may be made to the steering system. Original Kit parts only.

Ø  Original Kit electronics Speed Control & Servo only. Traxxas – 2075. You may install any Receiver you so choose. On board traction/drift device or Gyro’s NOT permitted.

  • Tire/rim combination must be 3.0” inside bead diameter x 2.2″ outside bead
  • diameter. Any tire marketed for the Short Course Trucks. No cutting/making
  • tires. 1/8 or 1/10 Scale rims/tires NOT allowed. Tires/wheels must remain in
  • stock form, zero modifications allowed.

  • Batteries allowed will be either one 7.2 volt(6cell) nicad/nimh or one 2s 7.4
  • volt lipo battery. No mah limit.

  • Motor: Stock Traxxas Titan 12T R/C motor550.

  • Chassis: Must remain in stock form, no modifications(Length, width, etc)

Monster Trucks (Nitro & Electric) Scale: 1/8th and 1/10th

  • To be a Monster Truck, the lowest point of the engine must sit at least 1.5"
  • inches above the lowest point along the front-back centerline when
  • compressed (usually the "skid plates").No flat Chassis plate (1/8 buggy or
  • arena truck) chassis.

  • To tech questionable ETs, remove the wheels, place MT on flat surface,
  • compress the vehicle fully and a ruler (or 1.5" gage) could be used vertically
  • to measure the engine above the surface. No flat chassis (1/8 buggy style).

  • Diesel Conversions are legal.

  • ELECTRIC TRUCKS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE PIT STOPS OR A
  • BATTERY CHANGE TO EQUAL NITRO STOPS. DURATION AND
  • FREQUENCY TO BE DECIDE AT EACH EVENT..

  • Examples that fit within the above definition:

  • T (and S) -Maxxes, Savage, MGT, Revo, TNX/TC, and LST.

  • Engine / Motor No Limitations on motor size / type

  • Max Weight No maximum Weight

  • Min Weight No minimum weight

  • Electric or Lipo Both are allowed

  • Tire Size No minimum or maximum measurements

Any wheel/Tire manufactured for competition may be used as long as it meets the class specs.

  • Tires must be of one piece in circumference.

  • No sectioning or piecing tires together.

  • No spikes, tubes, or additional items to be glued to the outside of tires or
  • passed through from the inside.

  • Only tires manufactured for a specific class may be used. Must be rubber
  • only and available as a tire for that class.

  • No tires created for other vehicle types even if they fit the specifications will
  • be allowed.

  • Cutting or modifying the tread is allowed. Modifying the tire carcass in
  • anyway is prohibited.

  • Brakes in working condition on all cars is mandatory. Cars should be able to
  • sit still with the engine still running, while the brakes are applied.

  • Exhaust pipes are required on every car. The maximum sound level is 85
  • decibels, measured at a ninety degree angle to the side of the car from a
  • distance of 30 feet, 3 feet above the ground, with the car at maximum throttle
  • and at all speeds. Any pipe made for specific class and engine allowed and
  • legal. No modifications allowed.A car that loses its exhaust pipe will be
  • black-flagged.Variable exhaust timing, porting, or exhaust pipes with
  • movable parts are not allowed.

  • All engines must be available through hobby shops or available to public.

  • Throttle return spring, rubber band, etc must be in place.

  • No Fuel additives

  • Lipo's must be charged in a "lipo" sack unless charged in your trailer. This is
  • for the safety of the surrounding racers.
